Built by twelve convict carpenters, and sixteen hired men, it offers a fascinating glimpse into Sydney's past, and is a unique base from which to explore the city today.

Situated in the heart of the Rocks precinct, the hotel is a popular home for many international travellers due to its proximity to Sydney's tourist attractions including the Sydney Opera House, the Sydney Harbour Bridge, bars and restaurants, Australian style shopping and the CBD.
