We have stayed at the Amalfi Hotel Chicago several times and always enjoy the experience. Their buffet breakfast service on each floor is undoubtedly the most comfortable way to breakfast in a hotel - you go out in your pyjamas, select what you want for breakfast and take it back to your room. Weak points - the heating system in some of the rooms is pretty noisy. Staff is consistently pleasant and helpful, and the evening complementary cocktail-snack is a wonderful touch.
